Poem on Celebrating Workplace Improvement
In updating a blog post on my other blog, I redid this Square Wheels Poster to reflect some thinking on what constitutes workplace improvement. Basically, we have
- Engagement
- Participative Involvement
- Peer Support
- The trying of a New Idea
- Leadership Support
- Required Resources of time and things
- Teamwork
Not every idea is a good idea and not every attempt to improve will actually result in an improvement. But continuous improvement IS a continuous process and the active involvement of people in the workplace is a critical component of intrinsic motivation and engagement.
