Peter Drucker Quote and a LEGO Square Wheels post on Management
I saw this in my image files and realize I had not popped it into anything so, here we go.
It was going to appear in a longer blog on thinking about management and innovation and similar but, for the moment, here it is alone:
I really like how Dr. Drucker framed up his no-bullshit approach to management and leadership and it is s shame that more people don’t really follow his viewpoints. I feel the same about Dr. Deming and his beliefs about quality improvement.
A real key, throughout Drucker’s writings, was the need for perspective. Leaders can lead only when they understand the reality. Otherwise they are just bureaucrats, of which there are way too many today.
Make the choice to involve and engage people in getting and implementing their ideas for improving the workplace.
Seriously!
For the FUN of It!
