Business Haiku – The Rat Cage of Working

It IS a rat race at times, although one seldom hears those words these days. Rat Race. Guess it is partly because people don’t watch rats race much any more and horses and greyhounds only go around once before they hit their finish line.

On the other hand, when I was growing up, we used to have those little wheels in little cages and could watch the little animals run around and around in their little wheels, much like the little people run round and round in the little workplaces in which they sometimes find themselves. There was a rat race!

The question here is a simple one:  CAN they choose to do things differently? Is some change possible?

Two thoughts come to mine. One is that maybe some external forces may cause a shift in how things are done:

or maybe, with a bit of simple perspective caused from standing back and viewing the situation, we might have some hope:

Spring IS coming, you know.

For the FUN of It!
