Poem on Organizational Alignment, Chaos and Reality
We often use these “View from the Top” illustrations to show how things might or should look and how they really look. We have a dozen or so illustrations from the Square Wheels and the Lost Dutchman materials that work around this basic theme of teamwork. Some are rowing shell illustrations, some are birds (like geese or pelicans) and some are vehicles of some kind.
Here is a poem created from two of these from the Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine team building game that we use to generate discussions about shared reality and potential benefits of alignment throughout an organization:
Creating ownership around a shared vision of direction and goals is a critical aspect of improving organizational performance,
for the FUN of It!
