Thoughts on Questions – a quote on patience

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves.” is a quote from the poet Ranier Maria Rilke

It speaks to the issues of being patient and listening and to the reality that questioning things is what truly makes a difference.

I liked that quote so I thought to anchor it with an illustration that ALSO should generate some contemplation and questioning and listening.

Square Wheels quote on patience and listening

We can all do a better job of being Servant Leaders and being aware of issues and patient in working with others to help solve those things that can be improved. Generally, this involves improved listening skills combined with better asking skills. Too often, we think it is better or faster or easier to tell, when all that really does is generate resistance.

See the issues around engagement as those having heart.
