Don’t Just DO Something, Stand There!
I posted up a comment on a magazine article about a friend’s blog and it reminded me of a cartoon and a poem that I have not used in a while.
The issue was about taking time to gain a different perspective on things so that cartoon was:
and the poem was
Yeah, the focus is one of looking at what you already have working and looking for ideas you already have within the organization.
It reminds me of the T.S. Eliot quote on how things work, which I of course adapt to my thinking:
Lastly, remember the most important thing when it comes to actually getting something implemented:
If people feel they have no ownership, why should they care?
Have FUN out there! And get things DONE!!
