Thought on Business: Teamwork – How Things Really Work (Workers)
I thought to start a short series of Thoughts on Business that employ graphic images and some of my more favorite quotes. The idea is to frame some of the illustrations of Square Wheels and The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine into some easy-to-understand ideas for workplace improvement. We do a lot of corporate team building and engage a lot of leadership into pretty good discussions about issues and opportunities. So, the idea is to pop up a few of the key quotes into easily remembered graphic images.
This meshes up with an article about how our main corporate team building exercise actually matches up with the issues of alignment to goals and with the basic idea that collaboration works a lot more efficiently and effectively than competition to generate intrinsic motivation and organizational improvement.
Do something differently and encourage teamwork as opposed to generating competition between your people,
For the FUN of It!
